Founded in 1988, Frijobel is proud to be a family business with roots in the Central Region of Portugal, next to the city of Coimbra, in the Historic Village of Penela.

Frijobel is a public limited company whose share capital belongs to the Vasconcelos family, which is engaged in the industrial activity of fish processing and selling frozen food products, from fish, shellfish, pre-cooked, vegetables and desserts.

Given its vast experience and presence in the market, Frijobel is a company with excellent financial indicators, whose action has, over time, become global.

This Policy is intended to make Frijobel's Customers/Suppliers/Users aware of the general rules of privacy and personal data processing, which are collected and processed in strict respect and compliance with the provisions of the personal data protection legislation in force in every moment, namely in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”).

Frijobel respects the best practices in the field of personal data safety and protection, having for this purpose taken the necessary technical and organizational measures in order to comply with the GDPR and ensure that the personal data processing is lawful, fair, transparent and limited to the authorized purposes.

Frijobel is committed to the personal data protection and confidentiality, having adopted the measures it deems appropriate to ensure the personal data accuracy, integrity and confidentiality, as well as all other rights of the respective subjects.

This Policy applies exclusively to the personal data collection and processing and whose processing Frijobel is responsible for, within the scope of services and products made available to its Customers/Users and in all situations in which the personal data processing occurs.

The personal data processing consists of an operation or set of operations carried out on personal data or sets of personal data using automated means, whether or not, namely the collection, recording, organization, structuring, conservation, adaptation, recovery, consultation, use, disclosure, dissemination, comparison, interconnection, limitation, erasure or destruction.

The entity responsible for the processing of personal data is Frijobel, which determines the purposes and means of processing them.

In the scope of its activities, Frijobel processes the personal data necessary for the provision of services and/or supply of products, as well as in the scope of the commercial relationship with Suppliers, processing data such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, according to information provided by the personal data subjects.

Personal data may also be processed for the purpose of marketing or disclosure of offers of Frijobel products or services, if the respective owner has authorized it.

Without prejudice to the GDPR provisions, the personal data subject may do so, directly or upon written request, addressed to the respective Data Controller, through the contact information provided for the purpose in this document, as well as other contact information made available by Frijobel.

Frijobel can promote dissemination actions to its Customers/Suppliers/Users focused on new products or services, namely by telephone, e-mail, text message or any other electronic communications service, if the personal data subject has given the respective consent.

If the personal data subject does not intend to continue receiving these communications, he/she may, at any time, withdraw his/her consent to the use of his/her data for marketing purposes.

Sometimes, the provision of these services involves access, by these entities, to personal data of Customers/Suppliers/Users.
