5 Frijobel plaice steaks Frijobel

Salt

2 cloves of garlic

2 slices of corn bread

1/2 teaspoons grounded garlic 

1 pinch of pepper

a good pinch of fresh or dehydrated parsley 

50ml white wine

80ml extra virgin olive oil

1 small lemon

Chilli flakes

Mediterranean potatoes

 

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP BY STEP

    prepare-o-tabuleiro

    Put a little olive oil on a medium-sized oven tray. Add the fish steaks.

    ponha-a-marinar

    Season with salt, pepper, the chopped garlic cloves, the chilli flakes and half the lemon juice. Drizzle with white wine and sprinkle a little more olive oil. Set aside for 2 hours.

    prepare-a-broa

    Crumble the corn bread, add the crushed garlic, the parsley and a little olive oil. Knead lightly to form a kind of bran.

    Cover the fish slices with the cornbread mixture carefully so that it does not fall apart. Take it to the oven, previously heated to 200ºC, for 25 minutes.

     Halfway through this time, put the potatoes in the oven on another tray. Serve the fish with the potatoes.
