INGREDIENTS

500 g clean Frijobel squid

1 small lemon, juice

2 large cloves of garlic 

1 pinch of white pepper

Salt, as needed

200 g wheat flour

200 g fine corn flour

1 full tea spoon paprika

Fine salt, as needed

Frying oil

Curry and mango sauce 

Garlic sauce

  

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP BY STEP

    Wash the squids inside and out and remove their tentacles, reserve them, season them and fry them separately.

    Cut squid rings 1 cm wide with kitchen scissors and put them in a container.

    Season with salt, white pepper, finely chopped garlic and lemon juice. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.

    In a plastic bag (make sure there are no holes), place the flours, the paprika or the chilli and fine salt.

    Mix them well and add the squid drained from the marinade. Shake the bag well to mix all the ingredients well and check that all the squid rings are coated.

    Heat the oil and, when it is very hot, fry the squid rings until golden brown.

    Put them on absorbent paper and allow to cool. Serve the squids by dipping them in the two sauces.
