INGREDIENTS

200 g Frijobel frozen Japanese clams 

3 cloves of garlic

8 anchovy fillets

2.5 tablespoons capers

5 tablespoons sliced black olives

a good pinch of chilli flakes

2 tablespoons extra virgin oil, organic

3 tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato pulp

1 teaspoon dehydrated oregano, organic

1/2 teaspoon dehydrated basil, organic

1 pinch of white pepper

Salt, as needed

300 spaghetti

  

INSTRUCTIONS

    Wash the clams to remove the sand residues.

    Heat the olive oil and add the laminated garlic cloves. Let it release the flavour for 1 minute.

    Add the drained capers, the anchovies, the sliced olives, the chillies and the oregano. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add the finely chopped tomatoes, the tomato pulp, the basil, the salt and the pepper. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, until the sauce becomes consistent.

    Add the clams and cook for another 5 minutes. In the meantime, cook the pasta in abundant water seasoned with salt. Enquanto isto, coza a massa em água abundante temperada de sal.
