8 sardines Frijobel
4 large tomatoes, ripped
4 mini peppers (red and orange)
2 onions
3 cloves of garlic
200ml extra virgin olive oil
1 pinch of white pepper
2 tablespoons tomato
Salt
1 pinch of white pepper
Chilli flakes
IN TOMATO SAUCE
STEP BY STEP
Start by cleaning, scaling and washing the sardines and season them with salt. Set aside for 2 hours.
Slice the onions and chop the cloves of garlic. Heat the olive oil, add the onion and garlic and sauté until soft.
Add the chopped peppers, previously cleaned from seeds, and the tomato in small pieces. Cook for 8 minutes.
Add the tomato pulp and season with salt, chilli flakes and pepper.
Add the sardines and cook on a low heat for 15-20 minutes or until cooked. Serve with boiled potatoes or white rice.
